The collision between the Milky Way Galaxy and the Andromeda Galaxy.

the grand showdown

Andromeda is a bit bigger than us. So when that happens, Andromeda’s black hole is gonna consume our black hole in a vicious act of galactic canabalism.
Which is an actual term used in astronomy apparently.

“Galactic Cannabalism” sounds like an electro/death metal fusion band.

Galactic cannibalism is one of my favourite astronomical terms, but it doesn’t beat the term used for the stretching out into a long thin tube that occurs when something falls into a black hole (spaghettification) or the term used for a rock thought to be a meteorite but which later turns out to be an ordinary terrestrial rock (meteowrong).

A cosmic dance.

You Can’t Be a Princess” | Journalists from ABC’s “What Would You Do?” planted hidden cameras in a Halloween store and filmed shoppers’ reactions to a boy who wanted a princess costume and a girl who wanted a Spiderman costume.

This makes me very sad and angry…

I believe this has a place on this blog.

This is so sad…

God help the sorry piece of shit that tries to tell me how to raise my kids, when/if I have kids, especially when it comes to gender roles. If I have a daughter that wants to dress like super man, god dammit I would be proud to buy that costume. Because superman is A: a great role model and B: I would be proud that my kid is a fan of comics. (Even if it was DC comics) Same if my son wanted to dress like the latest Disney princess awesome role models and Disney is some awesome shit. People like this deserve to have their ass kicked out in the parking lot where everyone can see how much of a cockbite they are.

Sons of bitches.

Here is a game that had some of the strongest women. They were not over boasted, they were not seen as special, they were just as, if not more, capable as every other being in the game. Not just with gender differences, but species as well. Sure it’s in the future and “that’s how things are then”, but why not have that now. Why wait until then? Why not have the equality now? I don’t want to wait for strong females to come around and be happy to see them. I want to see strong females and and just see women. That’s it. That’s what I see when I play these games. I see that they are of a specific gender/species and that is it. They bring their own abilities into the game that can help and hinder you depending on the mission or your fighting style.
And I guess that’s why I’m a feminist.
